Zakariyau has a strong background in non-profit entrepreneurship and is currently utilizing his expertise in risk governance for emerging technologies. Before that, Zakariyau successfully managed health interventions and research projects at Family Empowerment Media, New Incentives, and Oxford Biosecurity Group. He founded Effective Altruism Nigeria, which promotes and enables Nigerians to use evidence-based approaches to address important issues. Zakariyau is also an alumnus of the Charity Entrepreneurship Program.
